When to take Senior Photos?
July-September are the typical Senior portrait months. Many schools have a yearbook photo deadline sometime between October-February.
Why do I need Senior Photos?
The obvious answer is for things like the yearbook photo, graduation announcements, and photo displays at your graduation party. More importantly though, they are the time to celebrate you. The session is all about capturing your personality, showing off your hobbies/interests, and having fun. Memorialize your last year of High School and who you are right now.
What are Graduation Photos?
While Senior Portraits are done at the beginning of the school year, Gradation Portraits are done at the end of the school year, when you receive your cap and gown. These are done more in a celebratory tone.
Pre-Session

Have outfits planned at least 1-2 weeks in advance. That way you have to make changes if needed.

Make sure clothes are clean and un-wrinkled for the day of.

Do a Hair and Makeup trial. Make sure it's the look you are wanting.
Are outfit changes included?
Outfit changes are welcomed! However, keep in mind that not every location has a place to change, and the more outfit changes you want, the less time we have for capturing photos. Bringing a sweater or jacket to wear over your outfit can be a quick way to mix it up. Or, wear a tank under your shirt for an easy shirt changes.
What props should I bring?
This is 100% dependent on you. Take inspiration from your interest and personality. Common items are thing like: favorite book, sports jersey/equipment, letterman's jacket, fashion hats, balloons, or pets!
What to Expect
Our session together is about having fun and expressing who you are. I will capture some posed portraits, as well as giving prompts that will help me to capture your genuine emotions and showcase your personality. In the end, your online gallery will have a mix of traditional senior portraits as well as some relaxed lifestyle type portraits.
Before our session I like to get in touch with my seniors. That way I can get an understanding of your personality and preferences. This helps us plan out the details of what you want from your session.

Standard sessions are up to 1 hour. However, if you have multiple outfit changes or want to make your way through a large area of your location of choice, we can book a longer session.

This retainer is due at booking. It holds your date and covers the up to 1 hour session time. The balance of your chosen package is due before the day of your portrait session.
